Quoted from trilogybeer:

The original at expo . It's going to need a good cleaning( the whole game is kind of sticky ) I did not see Bryan Kelly misbehaving with it ,but I'm going to blame him anyways .

Sorry, man. I didn't even see it. I was busy having my way with Scott's Total Annihilation all weekend!!

#552 7 years ago

We shoulda put it next to Scott's

Yeah since I was hanging out near there alot of the time that would have worked out nicely , but Trilogy does not have a p-roc in it so it would have been out of place at the multimorphic booth .

This is what it will look like in the back of the game with the fridge closed in . There is a lock for the fridge unit and I will be adding a handle right below the lock so the fridge unit can easily slide out when unlocked .

It's going to be a good MGC this year. I can feel it

Quoted from Tallon:

Yes I'm sure mgc is going to be great , if one of these 2 games were to make it there though it would be up to someone other than myself . As I consider both games sold , I do believe it is the choice of their new owners if they go to a show or not.

I did just recieve a few parts I had sent to Ron at Pinballplatingandmore.com for brass plating very happy with the resaults .

Turned one on for the first time tonight . Got GI and all the controlled lamps . A few spots out on 2 of the displays , new displays new boards should just be a bad connection or wiring somewhere . Selenoids fired in test mode . Flippers are not tightened in place yet , so they are not aligned in picture .

looking LIONMAN doug!

Well the displays were an easy fix . First time I have used Pinscore displays for bally/classic stern , so maybe I did this incorrectly . The L bracket that is supposed to hold the 2 pieces togather accually holds the connectors too far apart .

#568 7 years ago

I think the L brackets are shorter in one direction?

Take the brackets off, put display on board, and then see how it lines up with bracket holes.

#569 7 years ago

I switched the clip around to hold the L bracket to the bottom piece (seems a bit more solid installed this way ) and left the clip out of the display part . The clip in there is what raises it too high for the connectors . Seems solid enough set up this way ,accually more solid than the way it was set up before.

I checked that, brackets did not line up with holes any way I put them on .

#571 7 years ago

I now have full range in all displays.

Would make sense but they are not . I put an X on two to show that they are same length either dirrection .

You go, Doug!!

#587 7 years ago

Gavin Miller went through this one . Gavin is not only a good player and a good tech , but also knows how to tweek the games so they are playing as good as they can . All the mechs and everything function smoothly . This one got a decent amount of play this past Saturday . So now I just need to finish with the keg/tap system , and sound is still being worked on . Still plenty of work left but this one is getting close (the other is not far behind either ).

Haven't had much time for these lately , holidays and other projects have kept me pretty busy . But I did get around to making the brackets that will hold the grain cartridge in the lamp housing .

20170107_125557 (resized).jpg20170107_125557 (resized).jpg

#591 7 years ago

Two 9mm nuts hold everything in . And two wingnuts hold the lamp housing into the backbox . Should be real easy to swap out the grain for something else if the new owners desire to do so .

The backglass /translites are installed and backlit . I had tempered glass made for these and Charlie (Spooky pinball ) printed the translites. Led strips off to either side give a nice consistant lighting .

You kick ass Doug!!!!

#597 7 years ago

These are so cool. Even if them don't have beer flowing I would encourage the new owners to bring them to a show or two just so we can see your work.

HOME STRECH DOUG!!!!

#599 7 years ago
Quoted from epthegeek:

HOME STRECH DOUG!!!!

Yeah , it is getting there . Still a ton of work left for me to do but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel . These will definently be the only 2 that I will build this way with the intention of selling . I do hope that who ever ends up with these 2 really enjoy them .

Thank you , I think that would be cool to see them at a show or 2 also . Artwork, custom pieces and just the overall look and how everything will came togather looks better than the first one I made . But I could understand the new owners not wanting to take a game like this to a show . Once these games are in the hands of their new owners the future for them is not in my control.
