I recently picked up this Cowpoke. I am planning my first attempt at a full nut and bolt restoration of a pinball machine. Covid has me looking for projects.

While I'm not a fan of cowboy and Indian themes, I like your Cowpoke the way it is!

I am always amazed at the lengths people go to change the cabinet artwork. That was probably a weekend project for someone. And why?

Nice pickup. Your thread title could be the start of a great one-liner! Good luck with gettin’ her fixed up the way you want her.

Because mama says it can't clash with the wood paneling in the basement (thus, so many brown-painted games).

Man, I don't know. That cabinet is really pretty cool looking. Maybe try finding another cabinet to repaint.
I'd leave it for now, and work on the rest of the game.
Strange how balls to play numbers 1-5 are faded, and 6-10 are not.
How's the rest of the game?

Reviving this old thread. OP, what's the status of this game? Did you repaint it?

#9 2 years ago

That's like the Fire "Champagne Edition" of Cowpoke.

Very creative, for sure.

Doesn't look good JR, OP's been around for 8 years and made 2 posts.
