1973 Williams Gulfstream
I've been looking for a single player EM to cut my teeth on now for a while as up to this point my pinball life consisted of 10+ solid state machines ranging from 1978 - 1996. Cab, playfield, control panel, and back box all are in need of serious attention. I was told it had been stored away for more then 10 years in the gentleman's garage and he was unsure if it was working before that. Mice had spent a fair amount of time as it was evident from the amount of shit and sections of chewed up harness. Playfield has some wear but should clean up well. Not many pics of that as I have yet to start cleaning it. Back glass is starting to flake and will need to be sealed. Everything was kind of a dirt filled sticky mess. But this machine is starting to clean up nicely. I've begun cleaning Jones plugs and addressing noticeable issues with wiring, banks and score motor. The machine is starting to work intermittently and at times you can enjoy a full game with correct scoring. Bells and chimes are a welcomed change from SS sounds. I'm pumped to start cleaning contacts and adjusting switches while continuing to move forward in the wonderful world of EM's! More pics coming on this one.
Thanks
Blake
