Snagged this gem today. I'll get more pics when I get it set up in my basement.
It will be for sale after I refurbish it.

Nice!

#3 2 years ago

That’s cool! Me want!

#4 2 years ago

Nice! Why wouldn't you want to keep a rare gem like that in your collection though?

Because he’d rather have money?

I'm more of a dmd era or newer. I've had some rare or somewhat rare pins over the years and I always think I'm going to keep them but I always end up selling them.

#7 2 years ago

Nice pickup. I dig this game.
Let me know when you get done restoring.
I might be your huckleberry.

#8 2 years ago

Wow. I have never seen that pin before. Cool.

I need to go read up on it

#9 2 years ago

Nice!
I imported one in from a guy in Germany and had to restore it...beautiful game and the Firepower sounds are funny ...as I had it next to Firepower!

A local guy bought it off me.

Played one next to a Time Fantasy at Expo a couple of years back. Interesting piece of pinball history

Out of curiosity, did yours have System 7 or System 9 boards in it?

I guess I shouldn't have picked it up then...I'm sure you wouldn't have either...lol

Laser ball is a shitty game, this one is not. Layout is too empty for the super widebody style of LB, but SL is fast and frenetic game. Simplistic but good.

I played a few games on it and seemed pretty fun. I need to get it playing faster.

Yup. Like Time Fantasy, of which I think we counted 7 coils on the entire game.

They did good work considering what they had to work with in the early 80s

Sounds about right lol. I'm happy to score such a rare machine.

Wrong... Laser Ball is a great game. Owner here.

If you had memories of the roller skating rink where we all played it in the early 1980s you'd think differently. Nostalgia is a wonderful thing.

Atari 2600 is awesome as well.

Couldn't disagree more. Ever played Phoebe's at Expo? I always look forward to playing Star Light and Warlok when she brings them.

Layout is closer to Quicksilver than Laserball.

Looks great! What did you use for the metal in the backbox?

Wow... Looking stunning! Cool to see how nice it is coming along!

LOVE this machine! Can't wait to see it finished! It is one my GO TO game at Phoebe's place! Is it getting a new playfield? Not sure if they make them or not, but with all the work on the cabinet, it would be awesome with a new playfield! Keep up the good work!!
