I've got a brand new Pinsound board that was slated to go into my JD but I replaced a cap and jumped some traces on the original sound board and got it working again ... so no need to use it there.

Of the games below, which is the biggest improvement in sound quality by adding Pinsound?
    Why do you think so?
To get that improvement, did you swap speakers too?

    AC/DC Premium Vault Edition – Stern 2017
    Aerosmith Pro – Stern 2017
    Addams Family – Bally 1992
    Batman 66 SLE – Stern 2016
    Dirty Harry – Williams 1995
    Dr. Dude – Bally 1990
    Elvis – Stern 2004
    Fire – Williams 1987
    Flintstones – Williams 1994
Game of Thrones Premium – Stern 2015
    Ghostbusters LE – Stern 2016
Iron Man Pro Vault Edition – Stern 2014
    Johnny Mnemonic – Williams 1995
    Jokerz – Williams 1988
    Judge Dredd – Bally 1993
    KISS Premium – Stern 2015
Last Action Hero – Data East 1993
Lord of the Rings – Stern 2003
Bride of Pinbot – Williams 1991
    Metallica Premium 2013
Pirates of the Caribbean – Stern 2006
    Roller Games – Williams 1990
Simpsons Pinball Party – Stern 2003
    Spider-Man Vault Edition – Stern 2016
Star Trek Premium – Stern 2013
Theatre of Magic – Bally 1995
Time Machine – Data East 1988
    Truck Stop – Bally 1989
XMen Magneto LE – Stern 2012

For me, Addams family or LOTR. Understand both games pinsound tracks are excellent. My Pinsound games are TZ, STTNG, IJ and BSD. I think they make a Hugh difference in all four.

TZ, IJ and CFTBL have the most marked improvement. LOTR is also really great.

Not on the list, but the DW remixes make the game actually thrilling to play, replacing the frankly annoying, repetitive theme in the original

Any specific feedback on exactly what you enjoy about the LOTR Pinsound application?

This ^^^^ - I think the best use of pinsound is replacing some of the music entirely. I changed out the tunes in Road Show, and it really worked great. I now have a Rock n' Roll Road Show and I can easily reset the mix back to the original at any time (takes like 30 seconds).

    LOTR. Add the speakers also.

I mean.. it’s actual film orchestral music played by honest to goodness real humans vs the computer generated recognizable-and-serviceable-but-not-exactly-setting-the-charts-on-fire synthesized music

Ive actually been considering this. With the recent rom update and changed sounds Id rather keep my RS than sell. How exactly did you do this and what songs did you use?

I've got TAF and LAH on your list and they're both outstanding (slight edge to TAF). LOTR looks interesting but I think it requires a little extra expenditure (harness or something).

Extra chip socket. It’s worth it

Thanks guys. Both TAF and LOTR could use the help. Now ... to decide ...p

Check out the mixes on YouTube. LOTR is the clear winner esp because
    of the callouts

Agree, has to be LOTR - adding the Pinsound board to this title is a 'game changer'.

It's settled then! LOTR is also one of my top 3 favorite games
