So I have started in on this crusty 66 Williams Big Strike project. At some point someone clipped the wires to this under playfield plug. There is no label but I believe it to be the 3 ball vs 5 ball plug? Anyway I'd like to put it back to original. Wondering if a fellow Big Strike owner would be kind enough to snap a couple pics for me?

Yes and no. Nice to see a 2 pin plug for reference (makes sense). The wire colors are different though and possibly configured differently.

Bump. I emailed two non-Pinside guys I know that also have this game. They are both buried in storage. Doh! Anybody have a Big Strike set up and accessible?

I don't have the game or a photo but there is a good schematic on IPDB. Could that be the Conservative/Liberal adjustment?

It looks like in the liberal setting it spots you a couple of rollovers once you've gotten a few letters.

Certainly could be. My schematic skills are weak.

Female plug: Orange/white wire bridged on one side? Orange red on the other? Kind of makes sense as I think one lug on a side is unused.

Any idea what the male plug colors would be?

This should work:

Very nice. Thanks Mark. I really appreciate your help.

This game apparently played so it must have been conservative by default with cut wires.

One of my friends just came through. Pic confirms Mark's assessment.
