    It depends on the game where you should connect the dowel rods.

    For Whitestar Stern (but NVRAM is the best good choice if you already lost your settings/high scores):

    On the circuit board, the positive dowel terminal goes top right, and the negative dowel terminal goes top middle (the positive dowel rod goes in the right holder position and the negative dowel rod goes in the middle holder position).
