Quoted from Goronic:Wow - those look really nice! The gameplay should be quite interesting (modal?) and with the PF and toys looking like this --- man this pin should be epic!
I really hope so, but for $8,000 it ought to be unbelievable!
That is A LOT of money, for a grown man's toy. I am not saying that it is not worth it, all the parts and development speak of the highest quality and HUGE potential for an incredible playing experience. But once again for $8,000 there should be quite the expectations for quality, reliability, extras, and great playing experience! There are so many great titles available used in the $1k-$3,000 range that this title better look, play, and "feel" like it is worth $8k.
Currently I am starting to agree with others comments that $5k seems to be a sweet spot for most buyers of NIB pin's, both home collectors and operators. That extra $3k better be put to good use and come out a winner, and I am hoping The Hobbit is an amazing package worth the $8k price tag, but wow, $8k is a lot of money for a big boy toy.
