On April 20th. In the late afternoon I was at the Pinball Hall of Fame. I spent my $20, it took me about 2.5 hours to donate all of the quarters. $20 does not last long at Caesars, more fun to had at the PHoF. I had a great time, playing pins, I will never own. Since I prefer EM pins, I was almost giddy with excitement.
As I was playing the EM pins mostly, as I was playing the older ones, I would find myself waiting for the ball eject to the shooting lane, LOL, forgetting the manual ball lift for a few seconds LOL.
I not a fan of LEDs being used for General Lighting in a Pin. These machines are not mine so I would not complain about the lights. The LEDs do attract the players, and keep the heat down. All of the EM pins I played were in great playing condition, Tim and his crew do a great job in keeping all of the games working. Tim arrived and went straight to work on servicing the down machines.
The PHoF is not a boutique store like you see at the large casinos in Las Vegas. It does offer a lot machines that are rare/hard to find. If you like pinball in general, a visit there will be very satisfying. I really enjoyed the games, Thanks Tim.

I think the EMs Tim has are overall in great shape. Not as beaten down as some of the newer games. Seeing them all in the long banks in pretty cool.

Back before 2006 when the first PHOF opened, I used to attend Tim's "Fun Nights" at his giant pinball shed. I always gravitated toward games like Bow+Arrow, Centigrade 37, and Neptune. The 1970s EMs were my favorites.

Glad you had a good time.

If you go on a weekend, it'll take you even longer to spend your money if you look out for the more casual players walking away from free games earned from "match". Or kids that leave credits because they have to go when their parents tell them it's time.

I think that's have the fun of going. I walk around looking for credits in machines or games that people walk away from.

When I was there in October, the Riviera location had a few that I'd never played before....

    CSI
Stern NBA (right next to an NBA Fastbreak!)
    Gottleib Vegas
    Surf 'N' Safari

    Later,

We are going this weekend. They have most of the newer DMDs and almost all of the top DMDs from the 90s are there and working. CV seems to always be down and I've seen MM working once. Got to play it a few times before it was taken down.
