    Hi all

We have managed to have 4 snapped metal PF mounting posts.
So doing some research decided to go down the route of drilling them out but have had 3 drills snap so making any further drilling impossible.

More research cam across these https://www.rockler.com/screw-extractor
Our only concern is if the posts in vulnerable hard hitting position will it be able to withstand the ball knocking them with the amount of PF left to secure the screw.

We have seen posts where people say just drill it out and replace the post with a bolt etc but as the hole wont be in the same position to default then the plastics mount mount correctly

    Any other ideas?

Can you grab it with vice grips and unscrew it?
Seems to be a bit there to grab.

You snapped 3 drills...? I’d suggest slowing down because you’re definitely doing something wrong!

Have you read Vid’s guide? Drill from the bottom and try hitting it so you spin what’s left back up and out

TBH it might just be the drill set I bought a while ago and it was cheap so my fault
