    Why not ask somone who has some knowledge in the field.
    I suggest mylar patches under anywhere a ball drops on to the pf, or if any assembly really pushes the ball hard on to the pf I would use some lo tac mylar.
    I always suggest mantis ball hole protectors, because they mount under and off the clear.
    I suppose it is similar to a man with a vacetamy, using a condom with his post menapausal wife. I think its goofy, but I bet people do it
