Shocking !!!this minute I'm reading this news..
Remembering seeing the Buzzcocks in Marseille in 1993 after they got back together , every song played perfectly and felt like new even then.
He would kick anyone trying to come up the stage, great singer /songwriter , unique vision of punk-pop tunes played fast and brilliant melodies all the time , recognizable between a 1000 bands and never ever boring..
A true great artist for sure and built with Steve Diggle the best english band of the last 40 years, nothing less IMO ( all the great artists mentioning them as their influence is endless )
Sixteen again and hollow inside too all the same this minute
Wish I never read this tonight right now
RIP Pete Shelley , hope you're happy nowadays fovever

Harmony in my Head is the best Buzzcocks song, but Pete Shelley didn't sing it.

Ever Fallen In Love might still be better.

Fond memories of seeing the Buzzcocks/Lunachicks in the late 90's. RIP

Homosapien is one of my favorite songs. Ever fallen in Love is probably my favorite Buzzcocks song.

Yesterday really really sucked.

Not more than two weeks ago I was playing some old Buzzcocks bootleg in my car, mentioning to my wife that we had to go the next time they came on tour. Damn it.

Did catch then 4 times on various reunion tours in the early-mid 90s. Good times.
