OTTOgd provided tech info to me to install a Game Over light to my Rocketship woodrail using the original backglass capability and hole for a socket in the backbox. I think it adds a really nice touch to game end. To ensure the machine passes any audit by the Department of Purity the mod is completely reversible at a moments notice.

I put an additional bulb under the hole base plates.

Looks great Andrew but you have lit up the purists!!

Looks absolutely brilliant MikeO. I am just going through my El Dorado & whilst I waxed the side rails is was not enough. Your approach is spot on so on to it tomorrow. Thks for the tip.

Be careful on removing the lane guides if you go that far. Let me know if you need advice on getting them off.

    Yes I certainly do-thks MikeO

Wow Andrew that sure is some grounding to everything metal residing on the cabinet. I have certainly made sure my transformers & coin doors are grounded (earthed in Australia) but I will be really interested to hear what the 'eleco techo' heads have to say about broader grounding. Thks for post.

    Quoted from CactusJack:

If you plan to do a number of these, you might want to look into finding the right size "Greenlee Punch" to cut larger holes in sheet metal. It only requires drilling one hole size for the bolt. They sometimes show up real cheap on ebay.

Terrific tip CactusJack-I had not come across this style of punch. Potentially very useful as I see there are square & rectangle punches. Process will be useful as I want to make a number of cash boxes & the rectangular punch will enable the coin slots in the lids-thks.

    Jet Spin
The ball went between the targets. Finished now !

Are you running hitap and/or yellow flipper coils Andrew on this machine?

Trying to understand the force at the top end Andrew. On my Super Spin by the time the ball gets to the top it does not seem to have the velocity to go between the targets. I thought you may have been on hi tap or hi power flipper coils.

Ok Andrew-on high not normal. That explains your top end velocity!!
