I kind of like the red legs. Raphael Lankar used to have some beautifully restored wedge heads that he opted for red legs on. It wasn't original but looked neat. I'm not brave enough to paint a set of nice originals but if they are rusty a little color is a mod I can enjoy.

I never modify them but must confess I'm not sure I understand the Dr. Suess logic behind that design. Instead of making the flipper button that when pressed closes the flipper switch lets make a 4 inch bent wire that reaches out and presses the switch.

Edit: I do add a little bit of heat shrink tubing to the end that makes contact with the switches. Neat little trick Dirtflipper came up with to add a little extra protection in addition to the fish paper.

I used to have one of those beer chalkboard signs in my basement that I would write the high scores on. It actually made my daughters interested in playing for a little while. They liked to try and knock my scores off of the board. Once they accomplished that feat they lost interest again.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. You want your Grand Prix to play faster?!
