It seems many in pinball feel the same way.
It's this way in EVERY hobby. I became involved in muscle cars back in 84. I saw the cars go from $500 to $5000 for the same reason. As soon as money takes over a hobby and you can't afford it, then it's time to get out, or take a break from it. Complaining about it will not help. The buyers control the pricing market.

People need to start learning to enjoy what they have or can afford(A,B,C list old or new SS). I had from an AC/DC premium to an Old Chicago em. I have decided to keep a few and sell the rest(mostly DMDs). This even includes my Attack From Mars. While my Black Hole machine doesn't have the AFM bells and whistles, I still can spend hours playing it without getting bored.
