Curious to see if anyone else has a penny scale in their arcade? As a kid
remember these as they were usually in front of Woolworths five & dime stores
as well as others. Yeah, I'm dating myself. The best ones, to a little kid, were
those that spit out a ticket with your weight and fortune.

That memory was triggered as one just came up for sale locally. But I've had
one for years, a Rockola (yes, they made these too!) 'lowboy' model from
approx 1935. Not only cool but functional. If you do a net search you'll see there
was a wide variety of sizes and types as far back as the later 1800's.
Something to consider as folks fill out their home arcades.
