Hi All,

I recently had the opportunity to make this conversion due to a fully corroded System 8 board.

Any interest in a write up? Or has this already been documented?

Definite interest in documenting it.
I was talking with someone about this the other day.
We agreed, while possible, it would be considerable work.

I encourage you to get a PinWiki account and document the conversion there.
Or, if you'd like to send the info to me, I can upload it to the PinWiki.
Pics are very helpful.

Happy to help.

I'll start putting it together this week before I give the game back to its owner.

Wasn't too bad as far as work goes. Just took a bit of time to figure out the sound.

Here is the other thread where the conversion was discussed...

I'd love to read about it! Been searching for a Pennant Fever for a while now, would love to know how to do the upgrade if I ever manage to get my hands on one.

Hi! I am new to pinball repair... I troubleshoot electronic systems, but I am not sure where to start with this. I am trying to repair my husband's pennant fever. This had been previously refurbished 4 years ago and has been working perfectly. It was moved into another room and stopped functioning. It turns on, most lights work and sound is working (you can hear it humming and it hums louder if you adjust the volume, but it doesn't 'start' and the pitch buttons don't light/work). I see a wire on the harness attached to the coin door loose but not 100% where it may attach. The fuses all seem fine. There were batteries that were old and I put new ones in. How/where do I start?? Thank you!

You should start by starting a new thread.
You'll get more help that way.
