Man, I’m so interested in this! I wish there was an easy toggle between rules without pulling the chip each time. Is there such thing as a rom switcher?

Quoted from idealjoker:A little board with a regular and a zif socket and a dip switch. That would not be hard to build. So many good ideas, so little spare time...
Are the current Roms already socketed (or soldered in?)
Quoted from idealjoker:The PEMBOT code is currently in the hand of a few testers. (PM me if you are interested, own both a PinBot game and an EPROM burner, and are willing to agree to a few simple conditions regarding what not to do with the code.) I have already received some useful feedback. The only significant change that I want for myself is a limit for the number of counted switch hits when a ball gets "trapped" between one of the jets and a rubber ring. This has been a problem for me with PinBot and with Super Jets in PEMBOT the problem is worse.
My goal is to release the patch sometime in September.
That’s literally one of my favorite features of pinbot. All my brothers and I usually take our fingers off the flipper buttons and do the robot until it gets out.
Quoted from idealjoker:Update: I have just sent a new code version to the beta testers. In addition to an important bug fix I have implemented "jet volley throttling" pretty much as described above. And there are now superjet sound and flasher effects which make a real difference for me.
I’m looking for a video! Can’t wait to hear and see the new effects!
