There is a coating on the surface on both sides of the glass which provides the anti-reflection properties. Any type of damage to the surface would ruin the whole point.
When I first heard of invisiglass and its price I was pissed that I paid $360 shipped for PDI glass.
Then I seen that video and felt a lot better.
If I could get Invisiglass for $150 a sheet I would buy it over PDI glass. My thought is I can always move the PDI sheet to the machine I'm playing the most. It's impressive for sure, but $360 is steep. I can't honestly say it was worth it but I won't sell it at a loss either.

Personally I would be concerned that you will scratch the coating. Once that happens I'm not sure if it peels off like clearcoat or not.
