I'm new to soldering on PCB's, but I did a few transistors. Now I want to check to make sure my solder isn't shorting across the small solder pads that I attached the new components to.. I visually inspected them with a magnifying glass and see nothing touching, but one spot looks close. So I used a DMM set to Continuity and tested the remains of the wire leads and the surrounding solder. I tested all combinations of the 3 leads and didn't get a Beep.
I should be All Good if I didn't have continuity, right?
