Whenever Pinball Resource adds new products to their website, they are also posted on the "News" page on the site. I have an alert setup to notify me whenever the news page gets an update. I figured folks here would also benefit from these update notifications.

    http://www.pbresource.com/news.html

This thread will be a place to notify Pinsiders of these PBR news updates.

The funniest part of the news post is that if you scroll down, they haven't updated the website format since 2003, lol. Must be for those people still using Netscape Navigator.

I try to exceed $100 as a discount kicks in. Tough right now as my supply of projects is running low.

My next order will be around $200.00. Going strong with projects right now and in the foreseeable future. Cool new things happening which I will reveal at a later date. True pinball happiness.

My only two real projects at the moment is a Bazaar which needs heavy cabinet work and Haunted House which needs an MPU to continue diagnostics though I'm going to work on the board tonight.

I say no other projects on the horizon but you never know what will turn up.

The funny part of PBR orders is the small box size for the $$ that were spent on it.

And I wouldn't have it any other way. Still the best value around!

I tend to order everything I need in one big order..... Then I order a bunch of stuff I forgot or did not know was broken.... and then a few more orders..... and a final order for good measure!! In the end the postal service is well funded by my pinball habit. The fact is I restore games in stages, back box, then Playfield top and bottom and then mechanical tray so I dont really expect to place only one order. I do laugh at myself whenever I find myself saying “this will be the final PBR order”. Never happen.

    01/24/20 Gottlieb Sinbad Spinner

Well....the spinnning target for Gottlieb is making headway! After a long hiatus due to toolroom and molding priorities, we received and accepted samples from a new mold making the A-17875 plastic spinning target.

24pc were stamped with the sword pattern for Sinbad (part# A-18151+) and are available for sale. A production run of the spinning target blanks will now be placed so that we can make a sufficient quantity of these and other designs.

Part number GTB-A18151+ priced at 8.65 each.

Looks like a VIP message from Steve:

    12/08/20 News

Well...this one is hard to write. I want to convey the meaning but without running on. How to summarize with appreciation and respect and love a multi-fascetted relationship that lasted nearly 35 years. Tonite at about 8PM, just 4 hours before her birthday, we lost Gloria Pullar to join the pinball arcade in the heavens.

Gloria joined me in Sept 1994 as my first employee to help build PBR. She was leaving an IBM career during their downsizing and was crazy enough to believe enough in me and that I could provide her a steady paycheck and an opportunity. We had been together since 1987, but to add a business relationship to a personal one was uncharted territory for both of us. It worked. Her faith in me was all-important to me and unending until the end.

It is amazing how many long term customers who remember talking and ordering with her on the phone or at a show will ask “how’s Gloria” ask me to give her their regards. She always remembered them and was grateful for their thoughts. Her spirit lives on and will be grateful for their thoughts and prayers.

That’s enough for now. We will all wish her God’s speed in her new home. Game over. Replay and match!
