I think these numbers are pretty close/up-to-date; let's see what others think:

Labor (not including PF restoration): $2,500 - $4,000.
    PF Restoration: $1000.
Parts, Re-Plating, Supplies (Average; not including mods): $3,000.
    Round-Trip Shipping: $800.

So that totals to roughly $7,500 to $9,000 (not including your core).

    Quoted from snaroff:

Using my briefly owned MM as an example...fresh restoration, and there were bubbles in the artwork and leg crinkle! There were huge finger prints embedded in the paint (on the front of the back box).

Wow, talk about shockingly unacceptable work from anyone...let alone a top-name restorer!

    My 2 cents:

I don't care for reproduction decals either--unless decals originally came on both the upper & lower cabinet from the factory (IE., MB, CC); or on backboxes only (on the B-W titles that shipped with factory head decals).

As long as the original screening is unfaded, a few touch-ups don't bother me at all.

Much more desirable IMO: like a Survivor 60s Muscle Car with original paint & a few touch-ups from parking lot dings.
