Quoted from silver_spinner:Most places are sold out as there is a large soccer event going in that weekend. Try airbnb
Yeah I made the mistake of waiting too long. I'll be commuting from Grand Rapids each day I guess.
Quoted from marcand:Oh man, I'd have you stay in the spare bedroom but it's already taken by a PATZ'r who has a booth!
Try Battle Creek hotels off of I94 - they might have openings - not too bad of a drive!
Don't sweat it. It would have been for two or three of us. I'm fine commuting this year but thanks!
If anyone from the area of West Chicago (Aurora, Wheaton, Naperville etc) is going to PATZ next week I'd like to offer $100 for time/fuel to pick up a Shaq Attaq in Warrenville. If you know of anyone traveling from there please PM. Thanks!
Quoted from marcand:HOLY SMOKES! It's almost the 1 week countdown!
Tell me about it. Dan and I are in a mad dash trying to get games ready. We should have four possibly five...or as few as one or two lol
Quoted from harmon1728:some odd ball titles
Dan and I just finished this odd ball title. It's actually pretty fun.

Quoted from Puffdanny:Hot Shots is beyond kind of fun!!!! It's my favorite game in my collection.
I spent a lot of time beefing up ramps with protectors of all sorts. That ball accelerator up top is a ramp destroyer. Come see it at PATZ you'll laugh at the solutions I came up with.
Quoted from hisnice:Hi everyone! I'm thinking about making the trek for the first time and would like to know if there are auction results from last year posted anywhere. Have prices been high or low? Should I bring a game to sell or should I bring cash??
Thanks!
Your wish is my command:

Yeah you guys killed it. Thanks for taking the effort to bring so many machines in. I played most. All played well, were level, and thank God that wasnt a picture of me with my foot on the leg
Quoted from harmon1728:Excited for today! But one quick announcement...
For those that don’t know, John Dayhuff has been a vendor for the last 20 years at PATZ and has ran the auction. I truly don’t believe PATZ would be where it’s at with out John being involved.... if you have a second, shake his hand and say thank you for everything he does and has done for the show. Oh and maybe buy something
SaturDayhuff!!
This was the best show PATZ has put on since I started coming several years ago. The reason it was so great was the larger number of pinball community members that did their part to help make the show great.
PATZ is my favorite show in Michigan and the only one I support. Here's to the next 20 years

In other words if I were to open up my collection to others to come play my games then is that a "show", or "open house" or is it a "party"? If people are not required to bring games or be a vendor to make the event what it is then what is it?
John
Your open houses are amazing. When do you think you will throw another one? It's been a while since I visited B.C.!
Quoted from Dayhuff:The Annual Party is always the first Saturday in November. Don't even want to think about it this early...., it's summer fun time right now...LOL.
John
Ok it's on my calendar now thanks. You just called it a party though. So which is it? An open house or a party?
Quoted from TheLaw:Already got my hotel room
Me too. Good rates right now. I was late last year and rates had almost doubled and/or sold out. Ended up commuting all three days.
