I'll make sure we have a Total Nuclear Annihilation at the show, and I'm fairly sure there should be a nice Fathom there as well. This is my favorite show of the year, let's load that place with games!

    #6 6 years ago
    Quoted from Borygard:

Very much looking forward to being back at PatZ!
And, I think people are really going to love Alice Cooper's Nightmare Castle. IMHO it's above and beyond anything Spooky's done to date.

harmon1728 What can we expect for the tournaments this year?

What else are people bringing to share with the crowd? I know the whole Michigan crowd up there has a lot of amazing collections that can be shared.

    #10 6 years ago
    Quoted from dhard:

Saterdayhuff shares his entire collection the first saterday in November just up the road from patz

Yep and he has an amazing collection, it is awesome how John opens his doors to the community, but sharing it with the public as well as the pinball community at a show like this is even better. (Not implying anyone with a collection like that should bring a entire load of games), but if everyone with a collection can bring one or two it will make for an amazing show.

    Quoted from harmon1728:

Finalizing details today. Hoping to have the facebook page built today or tomorrow. Once, that's done then I'll link it here for the full details. But... you can basically expect the same great tournament from years past with a few small tweaks to hopefully make it better.

Sounds good. I know down in Indiana we just had our first woman's tournament ever and over 30 players showed up. I can't recall if there was any woman's only tournament portion in previous years, but I think there was, I'd expect a few more Hoosiers this year.

    Quoted from Dayhuff:

Thanks Tommy!! I'd like to bring games from the collection, especially the rare ones but I already bring TONS of stuff to sell including games if I have anything left by that time. If you guys buy me out of all my parts then I'll be sure to bring some rarities next year....I promise!!

    John

You heard him guys buy parts then next year we can haul a hurcules out of the basement

    #27 6 years ago
    Quoted from Rock914:

Love this show! Ron, Xaver, and I will be there with a couple of booths. Xaver will have his arcade barrels for sale, Ron will have some playfields and parts I am sure, and I will of course have all items from Rock Custom Pinball. Can’t wait to see everyone at the show.
I may need a few games to put free light kits on or perhaps Interactive backbox kits.

    cough....TNA.....cough

    See you there buddy!

So if anyone has a Flash Gordon, or Skateball project game just sitting around that you know you will never get to, or even and old trashed Flash Gordon playfield by itself, I'm very interested in either title at PATZ. Thank you for any help tracking one of these down.

    #59 6 years ago

I will have used backglasses for James Bond 007 (Dayhuff its not nice, you don't want it trust me) and Seawitch that I can bring to the show if anyone is interested as well as several translites Wrestlemania, Kiss, Ghostbusters, and Flintstones (original). I'll see what else I can dig up in the next few weeks as well.

    Quoted from harmon1728:

    Hey SirScott!
Have to say I'm very excited to see the new Alice Cooper machine at the show after the footage from TPF..... WOW!!

It was very cool, glad it will be making an appearance.

    Quoted from swinks:

tsskinne / Tommy, you Fathom looks amazing, congrats and enjoy

Thanks swinks but that is all thanks to djblouw ! He as taken that thing from a machine that was well at least working to a better than new game. I'm looking forward to seeing people enjoy it at the show and can't wait to add it to my collection at home.

    #100 6 years ago
    Quoted from jellikit:

Are you a hand model or have you been in the past?
    Brad

haha a friend pointed that out to me as well....never had I looked at my fingers and hands so closely and then I got super weirded out by how they looked. Now I wear gloves at all times.

    #104 6 years ago
    Quoted from Underspin:

I make no promises but I'm trying to finish an 8BD restore to have it ready for PATZ. Playfield touched and cleared, three new flippers, coils and mechs, cab switches, all new drops, classic lighting no led. Will not have a for sale price on it but will always entertain "stupid price" offers.

Look forward to playing this! Our local arcade sold theirs awhile back and I truly miss it.

    1 WEEK AWAY!!! Getting pumped.

    #146 6 years ago

Looks like there will be some Iron Maiden machines at the show!

    #148 6 years ago
    Quoted from Rock914:

    I think I will be bringing 2 Earthshakers, Hook, WCS94, can’t wait.

Two Earthshakers?! I just saw CPR released those playfields today, good timing.

    #179 6 years ago
    Quoted from crlush:

    Almost ready.

That thing looks beautiful great job man!

    #202 6 years ago

TNA is cleaned & waxed. New sling and flipper rubbers. Outlanes opened a wee bit. Extra balls turned off. Switches set nice and sensitive for lots of random ball action. Loaded up and ready to go! Going to be fun and brutal in the tourney area.

Does anyone have the website for the tournament scores and standings?

    #271 6 years ago

The Iron Maiden in Rock914 's booth for his amazing lighting accessories had 328 plays. I have to admit I was very happy to have no reports of issues with the game at all while it was there.

    #330 5 years ago

Some of the TNA stream from the tournament area is up now!
