Does anyone know if Alice Cooper is opening up for Iron Maiden or vice versa? I am glad Phil is bringing speakers and a mic, as I can't imagine either playing without them!

TNA is cleaned & waxed. New sling and flipper rubbers. Outlanes opened a wee bit. Extra balls turned off. Switches set nice and sensitive for lots of random ball action. Loaded up and ready to go! Going to be fun and brutal in the tourney area.

    Quoted from Dayhuff:

Loading the truck as we speak. At 6pm I'll start loading the van as well.
    John

Van is loaded. Pictures to come. Unfortunately I just cant bring everything I'd like to bring. Even with the truck, trailer and the van, there is even more still sitting here.

I love PATZ. It’s my favorite and the only MI show I attend. See you in a few hours

    #214 5 years ago

    #215 5 years ago

C'mon somebody post some pix of what's there so far as I can't wait for 2moro to get here

    #221 5 years ago

Great lineup in the building so far! One of our best Thursday lineups we've ever had in my opinion. Lots of great playing classic and modern games. Something for everyone! Alice Cooper is in the house and plays great. Multiple vendors as well! Tomorrow we will be even bigger.

Everything is broken down, and waiting to come upstairs. Hopefully the snow stops long enough to load them up.

I have to say, that Fathom is beautiful! Spent a lot of time this evening admiring it. (And playing, too.)

More pics from today! I tried to post photos of what I saw that was NEW for today. I counted over 100 machines in the room today!

Note: I missed some pins that came in the late afternoon/early evening. Also, my pic of the AMAZING DE Simpsons didn't turn out (out of focus). That machine was wonderful!

Just got home and had a great time hanging out and playing some great pins including both iron maiden and houdini along with several other well represented titles of all eras and would like to throw out a thank you to the show organizers on another great event

    #237 5 years ago

Today is the auction at PATZ! No fee! Cash only! Pins, vids, playfields and back glasses only! Projects and non-working games welcome!

Be sure your game is in the registration area between 1 and 2 pm. The auction starts at 3pm.

Full rules can be found through the link on the official PATZ website. Hope to see you, your stuff and your CASH there!

    #238 5 years ago

Any pictures of the auction area to show what is there?

    #239 5 years ago

Right now there's a Joker Poker with no boards for auction. More will get in line today.

    #240 5 years ago

It is been my experience that games from the main area migrate into the auction area as people who want to sell them will put up a modest reserve and let the market decide! There is usually a rush between 1:45 and 2 PM to put stuff on the south end of the conference center by Dayhuff’s booth.

    Thanks!

I can’t wait for another day at Patz. Great turn out this year. Thanks to everyone that has brought games to play.

I love the PATZ auction. I have bought and sold over the years and it is my favorite part of the show. Can't make it this year unless I was to close my shop in the next 37 minutes, hop in the car, stop for a Starbucks(Venti anything to keep me awake), and make the 3.5 hour drive. Oh well, next year it is. My business is growing and should be able to hire someone in the near future to able to handle things while I am gone.

    #243 5 years ago

Went Friday, had alot of fun, brought my Data East Simpsons to sell in the freeplay area, got to play a couple good games of Houdini that Gary from Abel electronics brought, it was set up perfect and played excellent with new code (I believe my wifes cousin put a deposit on one there). Thanks to anyone who has anything to do with putting on that show as I always seem to have a better time at the Zoo than most of the other big name shows I have been to that other people brag about.

    See you next year.

Thanks for posting the results Marcus. I'll dig out the auction sheet a little later since I think you missed a few things, like the Lightning and Cleopatra glasses for sure but I think you got pretty much everything else.
