Hello everyone! As we get closer to show time, I felt it was time to have an official thread. I know I'm excited for the show!

Some info can be found here....http://www.pinballatthezoo.com

    2:00 PM Thursday - 10:00 PM Thursday
    1:00 PM Friday - 10:00 PM Friday
    9:00 AM Saturday - 6:00 PM Saturday

    Adults $15.00 per day
    Kids 5-13 $8.00 per day
    Kids 4 and under Free

We can always use more games! Whether its pinball or arcade games. This show runs on the kindness of the community in bringing games. I've heard some pretty cool rumors on games so far... Feel free to post on here what games you are bringing!

We will have most of the same show as previous years. Still finalizing some details and when they get finalized I will post on here.

One exciting announcement is that Borygard will be at the show this year. He will have his board repair set up as well as a small selection of parts for sale.

Also.... he will be bringing a Spooky Alice Cooper Nightmare Castle for us all to play! Pumped to see this thing in person.

I'll make sure we have a Total Nuclear Annihilation at the show, and I'm fairly sure there should be a nice Fathom there as well. This is my favorite show of the year, let's load that place with games!

    #4 16 days ago

Sweet I can always make it to the Zoo to see everyone!

    #5 16 days ago

Very much looking forward to being back at PatZ!

And, I think people are really going to love Alice Cooper's Nightmare Castle. IMHO it's above and beyond anything Spooky's done to date.

@harmon1728 What can we expect for the tournaments this year?

What else are people bringing to share with the crowd? I know the whole Michigan crowd up there has a lot of amazing collections that can be shared.

    #8 15 days ago

Hopefully I can make it and will have Doodle Bug.

Yep and he has an amazing collection, it is awesome how John opens his doors to the community, but sharing it with the public as well as the pinball community at a show like this is even better. (Not implying anyone with a collection like that should bring a entire load of games), but if everyone with a collection can bring one or two it will make for an amazing show.

Finalizing details today. Hoping to have the facebook page built today or tomorrow. Once, that's done then I'll link it here for the full details. But... you can basically expect the same great tournament from years past with a few small tweaks to hopefully make it better.

Sounds good. I know down in Indiana we just had our first woman's tournament ever and over 30 players showed up. I can't recall if there was any woman's only tournament portion in previous years, but I think there was, I'd expect a few more Hoosiers this year.

I can confirm that we will be having a women's tournament again this year!

Actually I used to have a open house the day before the zoo show each year. It started out slow over the years but it was growing to about 60 people in the 5-6 hours we were open. Then about 5-6 years ago when the Zoo show went to a three day show it seems that people couldn't take off work that long and it basically killed the party and the numbers were back down to like maybe 5 people showing up. SuAnn and I tried to keep it going for several years after that but it turned out to be way to much work for the amount of people we were getting so we totally ended it about three years ago.

As for the November party this year....? We'll see how we feel about keeping that going since it's grown so much over the years and hosting a party for 200 people is a huge expense and sucks the life out of us each year as it's a lot of work that starts months ahead of time.......but we'll see.

Anyways, enough about me lets get back to the regularly scheduled Zoo show....

Just a simple BUMP for one of my favorite shows due to all the great people that are always there. I have been going as long as I can remember and am happy I have. It's time for another PATZ and that puts a smile on my face.

Someday, I will visit the pinball at the zoo! I have only been to Kalamazoo once in my life last time I was there I bought a few comics in a shop on the Main Street. it was 1985.

It was pretty in town back then. Just so far away from where I lived.

    Another world.

Thanks Tommy!! I'd like to bring games from the collection, especially the rare ones but I already bring TONS of stuff to sell including games if I have anything left by that time. If you guys buy me out of all my parts then I'll be sure to bring some rarities next year....I promise!!

Can't wait for PATZ 2018! Last year was our first time at PATZ and can't say enough nice things about this venue.

We'll be set up again (as a vendor) so if you plan on attending and would like us to bring something from our website,
to save on shipping fees, please let us know.

Love this show! Ron, Xaver, and I will be there with a couple of booths. Xaver will have his arcade barrels for sale, Ron will have some playfields and parts I am sure, and I will of course have all items from Rock Custom Pinball. Can’t wait to see everyone at the show.

I may need a few games to put free light kits on or perhaps Interactive backbox kits.

just seeing Rob there again will make it worth it. What a great guy!

Selling off a bunch of project pin ball machines that I'll never get around to doing anything with. My loss is your gain. I've been in the pinball hobby for the last 21 years and I know my way around the games pretty good so if you have any questions let me know. Consider these non working or tested unless noted. They are all projects to varying degrees and each one will need to be cleaned and new rubbers/bulbs etc... and possibly some board work. All come complete with legs and even sometimes the manuals to go with them if I have it. Only the games in this listing are available, regardless of what other ones you see in the pictures.

    Airport--$200
Old Chicago--$500, a real project and not for the light hearted.
Playboy 35th--$600 also have a brand new Rottendog CPU board for another $300, game is mostly shopped out....
    Gun Club, 1941 Genco--$400
Eight Ball Champ, working with a couple of minor issues--$1000
    Circus, Bally--$300
    Liberty Bell--$400
Hang Glider--$250 and I have another playfield for this game for an extra $100
    Showboat--$400
    Space Odyssey--$400
Aquarius--$325, pictures show it somewhat incomplete but I have everything
    Pot O' Gold--$250
Pacman/Galaga upright video game, 20th Anniversary home edition also not working--$300
Medieval Madness--$800, cabinet and translight etc...but no boards or playfield.
Jungle Lord cabinet and backglass only--$150
Ted Nugent head--$40 with no boards or backglass.

I can bring any of these to the Zoo show if you send me a deposit but I cannot ship these games. Pictures upon serious request.
    Thanks,
