Have a head that had a big chip in it (3x5)
Routed it to level added a piece, prmered and trying to match that old yellowed white paint.
Any tips? Tried adding a tad yellow, tad sand color...hard to match.
Thinkin about off white with a wet tea bag, coffee grinds etc?

If you want to match faded paint get a small chip of the paint.Take it to your local Lowes and have them scan it.I have them mix a sample, about $5 and it has worked very well for me.

I've had luck using a Behr Smart Color scanner on my phone. I scan it a few dozen times in different lights and different times of day. I go with the color match that comes up the most. Then go Home Depot and buy a sample. Last time I did it was with a red and the match blended perfectly.
