I thought that was the plan when JJP started out-if they could make the code open source on unlicensed games, then they would. Might be imagining things though. Only major issue is how easy I can see it being to mess up something expensive (like locking on a coil)-not sure how "forgiving" the underlying OS is. It could be done, but it takes a lot of Engineering time to create an API layer that can compensate for mistakes.
