Quoted from rkahr:Thanks, gutz - that aligns to my theory based on what I am experiencing. It's going to difficult to get that switch right because of the positioning of the assembly behind the playfield. I'll be at Pintastic is this weekend but should have some time to work on it during the holiday week; I'll update with what progress I make.

Well here's the update - I got it working but that switch is in a terrible spot for adjusting/testing. There are some additional good suggestions and what worked for me in the other thread I posted in about "no big bang". In short, work from the back with the head flipped down, get yourself high enough so only your wrists enter the neck hole, and use a multimeter to test the switch rather than constantly flipping the head up to use the game software.
I'll also mention here that I used Bondic to repair my right ramp. Years ago we talked about it (or I think we did in this thread). My ramp was held together with a couple clear plastic stints and packing tape. The Bondic repair is only marginally better. I found the product wasn't strong enough to hold the ramp together without the stints, so now they are attached via Bondic instead of packing tape. I'm happier with how it did on the exit hole on the ramp - that was also cracked and missing a piece. I was able to build up the void with Bondic and it works pretty well holding that crack together. I think the break in the center of the ramp is simply exposed to too much lever action because of the length of the ramp. Here's how it looks:
Bondic repair of right ramp with clear stints
The ball rolls very cleanly across the repair because most of the work is on the underside of the ramp.
Time will tell how the repair holds up. I found I had to replace the packing tape about yearly and the game sees very limited gameplay.
