Working on a Party Zone with multiple issues for a friend and would appreciate some help with a DMD problem.

Initially it didn't work at all. A missing 62v was diagnosed so I got a replacement HV components kit and now have all the necessary voltages.

However the top half of the display is completely blank and the bottom half is lit but seems to be displaying garbage. Looking closely at the display you can just about make out what it is trying to display and the garbage changes when the message on the display changes in attract mode.

I have tried re-seating all chips on CPU board and also the data cables with no success.

I am told the pin has worked previously but don't really know how long ago this was.

Any advice greatly appreciated.
