I'm working on an Allied Leisure game, which uses .084 connector pins.

Unfortunately, the modern .084 pins that I have don't fit in these older connector housings.

The pins I have: Molex 02-08-2006 .084" from https://www.greatplainselectronics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=02-08-2006

The diameter of the pin changes part of the way down in order to meet the lip of the matching socket connector. That small difference in diameter prevents the 02-08-2006 pin from fitting through the hole in the connector housing.

Are there any .084 molex pins that have the same diameter for the whole length of the pin?

Nope, that's the same part number as the one I already have. It doesn't fit.

It looks like this is also the same problem with GamePlan connectors.

Yeah, contacts for AMP Commercial Mate-N-Lok and Molex MLX Power Crimp connectors are nearly the same thing... but not quite. Pins from one won't quite fit pins from the other.

Ok, thanks. I thought I might've been able to get away with just getting pins, but like you said, Molex and Mate-N-Lock don't match, so I'll have to get the sockets too.
