    Quoted from NoQuarters:

@ DoorCounty - I think you are on the money on all points. That distributor knew. I'd put good Coin on that and Take that wager.

You may have that suspicion but assuming these things is not wise.

    Quoted from NoQuarters:

Sending pins to a residental address with curbside and lift gate services requested and phone contacts that are not ASOA and different names might be a clue and also they are spread out to various different states across the country.
Highly probable that distro knew. Guessing Stern got wind of this and put a stop to it.

If I'm a distributor this scenario seems ideal.

Yea I mean y'all are fixating on the wrong villains. JD is an opportunist at best, manufacturers clearly ignored this.

    Quoted from OLDPINGUY:

Are you suggesting that the price is controlled 100%? Or should distributors have the ability to discount either directly off MSRP,
or add ons, like delivery costs, extras, etc?
Sure everyone is responsible for our own actions, I am just unsure what you are disagreeing with?
I too, chose not to conduct business, but for different reasons.
Someone losing money due to fraud? No one underselling? I just dont know......No one is a victim?

They will typically legally bind retail prices and also define retail vs wholesale. They do this largely to maintain consumer confidence. That said often the grey area exists between the definitions of retail and wholesale and I seriously doubt anyone in this conversation has the ability to provide objective facts about any pinball manufacturers' policies.

    Quoted from Elvishasleft:

I am just saying things small dealers would like to and cant because they will be told to shut up as they were for two years.
Hopefully that has changed a bit now or people know to at least check out where they are buying from.
I am again sorry you had issues.

What's the next step up after broken record? We need to nickname this dude.

    Quoted from paynemic:

More victim shaming. People are doing what they can and what they feel is best for their situation.
You think stern is unaware or even cares? They’re selling machines. That is literally all they care about. But I’ll call them if you’re think that will really help the community so much.

I don't think he's shaming victims. I think it makes sense to give stern this information.
