I’m very close to paid back in full. I think I have like $4k left and he pays me $1k perfectly on time every month.
Like everyone else, I am pleased to be reporting this and I think it shows some character that he did the right thing.
Quoted from Aniraf:it shows some character that he did the right thing.
Everyone makes mistakes, it's just a matter of whether you learn from them or not!
What happen with all the big pants tattoo talk that came about. Anybody stick to their word or is their word worthless trash?
PS….
Your word is all you really have and cannot be taken from you unless one is under duress. It only goes to shit when one voluntarily doesn’t stick to it and then one becomes a worthless steaming pile of poo-poo.

This is the internet, where you're allowed to sit comfortably behind a keyboard and type anything!
Remember all those folks that blasted JJP about quality and how they would handle it but yet at Expo no one even brought up ANYTHING about quality???
As of today, I have been fully paid back! Thank you to everyone who provided valuable comments and PMs. Thank you to Jonathan for following handling this the right way.
Quoted from crwjumper:Finally. It was a fight, but no doubt worth it.

Glad you got your game, ill never see the one I ordered from JD because its now trending at 35k used

People have been paid back, but the ones that lost out on their "Dream" or rare/LE game that ended up skyrocketing in price are the ones that it really hurt. POTC, TBL, MM-royale, etc.
Man it would suck to think you had a POTC, TBL, or MM-Royale at the old/intro price only to be hosed because you picked JD.

As long as you got your intitial investment back then I'd call it a first world problem. Especially with all the scams that are never recouped. You'd probably just do something foolish with all that pin flippin profit anyways. (Like buy another pin )
I got a call today from a guy in N.Y. Who Jonathan is courting to invest $100,000 in an arcade venture. Before investing the money however, he thought that it would be a good idea to get any information he could on his potential new business partner.
He did a google search on Jonathan Demare and found my original thread and this one.
Looks like Jonathan is back to his old tricks again. He must believe that the dust has settled after him lying low for a while and the time is right to jump back into “the game”.
When the potential investor reached out to me I thought about what I should tell him.
I remembered how nice Jonathan was and almost felt pity for him until I also remembered how he used his smooth tongue to make dear friends of me and then attempt to steal over $150,000 from me and another 15 of his Pinside “friends”.
I thought back and remembered the many months (actually over 2 years) of anguish that I went through and how angry, sad, upset and financially stung we all felt over those two years when he had taken all of our money and refused to give any of it back or to deliver the pins he had promised us.
I remembered all of the lies and stalling B.S. he told me whenever I was able to contact him.
I remembered how many sleepless nights and days of mental anguish I endured over how he had stolen so much from me.
I thought about how many times my wife and I argued over the money that I had lost by trusting him.
I remembered that some of my fellow Pinsiders also had marital problems and almost family breakups over this thief taking advantage of us.
The potential investor and I talked for a bit.
Excellent news! Hopefully he doesn't start using an alias to do business. I would like every Google search for Jonathan Demare aka ASOA aka Amusement Services of America to point to this thread so everybody can see what they may be dealing with.
Quoted from Cobray:WOW. He's like the terminator, just keeps coming and coming LMAO
FFS I always thought his worst "skill" was posting here, but I often forget swindling ties for the top spot.

Jonathan has ALWAYS made everything right. I am not sure the need to open back up an old thread where you clearly stated that everyone that was owed ANYTHING was paid back in full.

He was a huge liar and deceitful and caused a lot of pain because of that. Paying people back (what he OWED them) was the least he could do.
He only made everything right AFTER I got the police involved. He would not have paid any of us back if I hadn’t. I (we) tried for 2 years and he refused to give us any money back.
Quoted from Dexter:Jonathan has ALWAYS made everything right. I am not sure the need to open back up an old thread where you clearly stated that everyone that was owed ANYTHING was paid back in full.
Fool me once, shame on me.
YOU ARE THE FOOL TO GIVE HIM A SECOND CHANCE.

Welp, we found ASOA's burner account... or best bud who was in on it all... or real distant 3rd place, one of his stepping stones to build his local street cred.

It wouldn’t shock me that there are some folks who are so thankful they actually got paid back over the course of two years that they’ll shill for him.
I would think most people who have yet to enjoy the “ASOA Experience” will take that with a grain of salt.
There’s no shortage of people selling pinball machines. Why roll the dice?

I'd even bet that there were people that got deals from him that went back to see if they could get another deal EVEN AFTER SEEING THAT HE'S RIPPED PEOPLE OFF. Imagine being that crazy.

Stop shilling for this scumbag. You must have gotten a lot of great "deals" from Jonathan since you are always around to defend him.

Most of my games have nothing to do with Jonathan. Many distributors can vouch for that. I consider Jonathan a friend and believe he has made right any wrong he once did. But keep throwing stones...

You are obviously a good friend. I also have good friends. However, there are a few of them I wouldn't vouch for them to borrow 50 cents.
Maybe you are willing to co-sign that $100K investment he is looking for?
Didn't think so.

All you had to do was discuss facts. That should be all the information anyone would need.
Just because retribution is made, doesn't mean the past gets wiped clean. That's why references are SO important. It's something Jonathon will have to live with because of his own actions.
I applaud you for not sticking your head in the sand just because you got your money back.
Revisiting this post I get serious Steve Salmon the KLOV scammer vibes. That one is still in progress but hes slowly "making people whole" again while facing no consequences for his actions. Still has his associate Kris selling stuff on his behalf too.

Then why didn't you use him in the past for your purchases but instead used other distributers if you "consider him a friend"?

Just because he was forced to pay people back doesn't mean he's still not a thief.
Dexter, really? He's a con artist that still has you fooled, friend or not.
You need better friends.
