I'm living in DC this year and picked up a non-working Paragon. Got it all fixed up and thinking of selling it and getting another game. Wondering what it is worth. Players grade, wear on playfield, cabinet is faded, backglass pretty good (no flaking but has a couple of scratches.). I put in a new rectifier board, new Controlled lamp board that works with LEDs, and fixed a giant load of things an spent countless hours repinning plugs in the head (just complaining, my time ain't worth shit.). It's playing really well and after a couple of months with nothing but Paragon, I'm thinking of the next game. Now if CPR was rolling with their new Paragon playfields, I'd have something to do. Maybe this week I'll get the magic email from them.

Oh, displays work, but one is flickering and some have plasma burn.

Please tell me that battery doesn’t say 97 on it...

You just need glasses.

I'm restoring one now with another in waiting. What's going on the with burn mark above the SDB? What is that behind that board under the burn mark? That battery has got to go. As it sits I think it's worth $900-1,100. It's a great player. Funny those "Atlas Music Co" stickers have graced a half dozen games I've bought over the years and I've got my share from the DC, MD and VA areas.

I paid $2400 CDN or $1800 US for mine about a year ago. One display was not working (was able to fix). Sound was a bit off (was able to fix). Playfield was beautiful with very little paint wear, although inserts were cupped (was able to fill them). Back glass had a taped over crack (ouch... probably the biggest issue, but easier and cheaper to replace a backglass than a playfield if/when I can find one). One side of my cabinet was a bit more faded than yours.

Hope that helps.

Let me know if you want to sell the back glass

I sold mine a year ago with a nicer playfield but some wear mint backglass , some cab fade ,original boards with rebuilt PS $1,500

Cut off that battery ASAP.

Yes, sir! Seriously, glad people reminded me about it as I just forgot to get that removed and replaced with NVRAM.

I would guess in the $1200 range +/-

#11 5 years ago

how many of the inserts are cupped ? playfield seems pretty worn. maybe $800-900?

#12 5 years ago

I'd say something in the $750-$900 range, but some people go nuts over this title and overpay for it. So I dunno. Different buyers are willing to go different prices on this title.

IMHO, you should be able to get over $1,000 for a working Paragon in players condition with good backglass.

Agreed. I sold an average condition one with a new power supply board for $1000 a couple months ago.

You'll probably get extra for the vintage battery.

Stick a "Supreme" label on it and you can double the price of the machine.

Nasty... but funny. We all be friends here in Paragon land!

Sold mine a few years ago for $1200 in nice players condition. Nice backglass, nice cab, little bit of wear on the playfield in the bonus area and elsewhere, slightly cupped inserts.

Disaster mostly adverted.

Also, thanks for all the feedback on price. Great game, and wish it was in Tucson.
