The serial numbers will also be on a sticker of each of the circuit boards. For Paragon the serial number will begin with EPA and then followed by a series of numeric characters, i.e., EPA1111.

BTW, I completely restored a Paragon about a year ago. It needed quite a bit of playfield touchup done. I came to appreciate the beauty of the artwork on the playfield. It is one of my all time favorites, next to Fathom.
