Quoted from Cam:Does anybody know where I can get a Paragon playfield overlay?
I need the center between the slings at the very least, it's pretty bad.
CPR has playfield slated for reproduction, check out their website and sign up for a pre-order.

Something similar to the above completed project, congrats.
I am still looking for a "game donor" Paragon wanted in ANY condition for a complete new game reconstruction with a spare NOS playfield, backglass, playfield parts, and plastics to construct a new game from the ground up. I have sat on this "cache" for over 20 years, and want to do this as a project. Most likely, I am going to build a new cabinet as well. I have already done two playfield swaps of this EXACT title in 25 years, so this time it should be MUCH FASTER. I know there are still plenty of them out there, what barn or warehouse is it hiding in?
Still one of my favorite Early Bally machines due to the Paul Faris artwork, and Greg's design efforts.
Hell, I even pre-ordered a CPR playfield to make a "back up of a back up", because my NOS playfield has NO clearcoat and I am not going to ruin this artwork under gameplay.
Quoted from Toads:I hope they do a better job than the back glass they did.
Yes, it was not their best work, so I was told, but this time I cannot verify.
It actually surprised me considering some of the other Early Bally backglasses turned out SO WELL (Fathom comes to mind).
Perhaps you got a bad part of the run?
I am guessing you got one with color bleeding?
I did not buy one because I did not need one, but I did not hear too many other complaints.
At least it was on the right thickness of tempered glass.
Their specialty has always been playfields and plastics.
I am sure the colors and inserts will turn out better, because "technology moves on".
If not, I will sell it, and clearcoat my NOS playfield for the "project" someday...
Quoted from Captive_Ball:So I was fortunate to pick up a HUO Paragon last weekend, so the project is now moving along to another pinhead.
VERY RARE find there, I would gladly trump the offer to buy if shipped, if the pinhead someday changes his mind.
The playfield looks basically NOS, too bad they did not clear coat playfields back in that day.
Reminds me of an Embryon I found back in its shipping box (after 15+ years), after it had a premature cradle death due to board failure and was forgotten about. It was routed for 2 weeks. The base cabinet and board area looked exactly the same as these photos.
Quoted from dozer1:Just a shot in the dark. Does anybody have one of these stickers that they would part with? I am working on my Vector and it uses the same spring gauge decal as Paragon, it appears. No apron sets are available for Vector and all I need is the spring gauge decal anyway. Please PM me if you can help. Thanks

Most aprons of this age were painted and sealed by heat and lacquer.
I do not recall any proper decal sets for these Early Bally machines.
It might be worth your time to scan, clean up and have it professional printed.
Off hand I personally cannot think of ANYBODY that carries "decals" for this particular machine.
You might find another apron however.

At least this is decent quality. Generally, his printing is quite good. I did not realize Jeff was expanding his "repetoire".
Why on Earth would Planetary license this crap?
I highly doubt they did, they are too just chasing other pinball ambulances. This coupled with the expiration of Williams and Bally parts patents may open a whole new door in the future.
Too bad about the quality of the item. Never been partial to decals myself, unless it was for a sanded cabinet
Quoted from Gov:He will tell you he cares, but I have yet to see anything improved at classicarcade. Pity pinballrescue got shut down on the B/W stuff, they did outstanding work.
In regards to PR, there is always a "way".
