I set mine to 5. You need a chance to light paragon & get to your hold bonuses.

Was finally able to give Paragon some much needed love.

Quoted from Canad-eh:

I wonder if the metal guide was put there to replace a rubber ? Could it have been too easy / difficult to make the saucer ?

My guess is. The kickout hole was supposed to be in that spot behind the bar. As sort of a skill shot.

Quoted from MyParagon1979:

I want to replace my post caps.
One is missing.
And many are loose.
Any suggestion on color, style, or brand for a Paragon?

You mean the one that hold the plastics down? Blue silicone is what I used. See a few posts above for pix.

I use a ring. Never saw a flipper rubber like that.

Makes sense from an operator standpoint, back in the day.

I love the LED replacement displays. Put green ones in my 8 Ball. But if you're a traditionalist. The boards are easily repairable. As long as the displays aren't bad.

Photos, photos, photos. Trace the wires on the old pf. The wires pretty much stay in place where they belong. When in doubt. Label stuff. I was nervous as well. It wasn't as bad as I thought. Photos helped me the most.

Repinning is the way. It's tedious. But it's the way.

Just back flex it little by litlle till there is enough tension to keep it against the post more. You don't want to put a kink in it.

So are you selling the old BG?

Same. Sometimes I'll put rubber feet under the back as well. For even more pitch.

And an easy rebuild. Buy the whole mechanism already built from Pinball Life. Lol. Ensures everything is new and it's done.

Decals is about the only option I've ever seen. Unless a good used one comes up.

Pop the eprom chip on the sound board and clean/sand the legs. Mine was goofy and that fixed it.
