I was looking at game scores here:

Anyone know how many balls they play? Is it 3? Thanks!

Yea, it's 3, no extra balls or replays allowed. They have a set of rules on the site as well.

Also, keep in mind that the machines are set as difficult as possible. Most have very tight tilts, are set steeper, and have rubber on the posts removed.

Yes most machines are set on expert or Hard in the menu options, which means often locks dont carry over from ball to ball - or things require more shots to light, mystery awards are not random - etc etc.

It was brutal! I had never played a pin with the out lane posts completely removed and the rubber taken off the ones that were unmovable.

    and how!

Check out the videos on http://tiltwarning.com/blog/ and can get a sense for how they play. In a word: "tough"!

It's specifically 3 balls on SS games and 5 balls on EM games. I'm pretty sure they're moving this to be a hard rule so people don't get confused as to how many balls on each game, as the number has definitely varied on EMs in the past.

The tilts are set super sensitive and playfields usually at a pretty good angle

What were your ranks and scores? or is that personal info like credit card numbers?

The tournament is basicly what made me go thru with buying my machine, and made a bigger addict out of me. My scores weren't great, but I went in at basicly amateur level. I hadn't even played most of the games until entering the tournament at the time.

    Entry #3292 (division C)
    Machine Score Rank Points
    The Addams Family 70,403,050 36 52
    CSI 1,891,740 322 0
    Twilight Zone 26,353,270 305 0
    Wheel of Fortune 2,478,440 243 0
    World Cup Soccer 101,648,410 368 0
    Total 52

    Entry #3638 (division C)
    Machine Score Rank Points
    The Addams Family 7,346,170 342 0
    Iron Man 2,261,860 426 0
    The Simpsons Pinball Party 1,224,390 298 0
    Wheel of Fortune 4,450,620 128 0
    World Cup Soccer 426,104,580 88 0

I ended up getting 36th on Addams, which I figured wasn't near as bad as all my other scores, a ton of fun on that weekend, I have to recommend it most highly.
