The PAPA Circuit is a month-by-month set of quality tournaments around the country; PAPA adds sponsorship dollars to the tournaments, and the top 20 qualify for the Circuit Final at the end.

The next PAPA Circuit will have 12 tournaments, one for every month, and we've posted the list of the first 9 tournaments here:

    Locations:
April 2013 - Scott Township, PA
    May - Lyons, CO
    June - Marysville, WA
    July - Santa Clara, CA
    August - Scott Township, PA
    September - Portland, OR
    October - Wheeling, IL
    November - Orlando, FL
    December - Austin, TX

Thanks for your interest and let me know what questions you have.

Nice! I was sort of hoping there would be one within reach of New England, though.

While it might be possible for such a tournament @ Pinball Wizard Arcade, it would have to be a different kind of tournament than the one they currently run. Circuit Events all run at public or prominent locations so it would not be acceptable to run a Circuit Events at either a private home or a bowling alley.

Plus, it's not that long a drive to Pittsburgh or Virginia...

My first thought was: "Hell yes! Roadtrip to Lyons." Then I saw those two little words in the bottom of the calendar box for May 12th: Mother's Day. Deal breaker!

Get your tickets for Orlando and do two great shows in one week. IAAPA and Southern Pinball Festival! Congrats to Donny and Leon for getting SPF on this great list. This year will be bigger and better than ever.

So is the match play format for the Pinballz event basically gonna be "Pinburgh, but in Austin" or "Pinstin"?

    Austin.........great.....

I hate this state sometimes. Even better, it's in December, when thanks to union BS, I will have ZERO chance to get any time off work at all to attend! Woohoo!

You can't ever make everyone happy. Pinballz in Austin is a fantastic location with lots of pins that can be an excellent, dedicated space for a match-play pinball tournament.

Darth, the format is not yet decided, but it will definitely be similar in design to Pinburgh.

Are the any further details about SPF in November? Website only links to 2012 details. Have booked holiday to Orlando to coincide. Looking forward to my first overseas tournament, just hope I do better than I do in the UK.

Many large shows don't update their details right away, but I will need to check with the SPF organizers about their specific dates. The SPF show is coordinated to attach to the IAPPA trade show in Orlando. IAPPA 2013 is scheduled for November 19-22, 2013. The dates we were given for SPF 2013 are November 22-24, 2013:

However, the SPF website lists SPF 2013 for November 16-18, 2013.

I don't think those other dates are realistic (they are Saturday through Monday) and will get more accurate information as quickly as I can.

I can confirm the dates on the PAPA Circuit calendar are correct; SPF 2013 will be November 22-24, 2013 in Orlando. SPF is migrating its website and should have an update fairly soon.
