Hi folks!
So I’m stationed in Japan and was able to pick up a nice TMNT from a buddy a few weeks ago. The game is awesome and gives me super nostalgic flashbacks but my kids and I have beaten it enough that it is already getting old.

In the coin box is a Pandora Box 5S cartridge. I am not sure how to install it in order to get the 999 games that are on it. I have a Jamma board, please see pics, but am not sure what to do in order to install and make it work. My game configuration is a 4 player 2 button one. I am uploading some pics for reference but would truly appreciate anyone’s help. I am stationed in Japan and have zero arcade/pin buddies to help so I am throwing a lifeline out to my Pinside family.
Thank you all for any help, tips etc!

ARRAGATO!
Rob

Also, this is my first arcade game and am a total rookie so please be gentle.

It looks like you just hook the black plug onto the slot on the Pandoras box. Get some screws and mount the board next to the old one.

Yep. Just remove the JAMMA plug from the TMNT board and plug it into the Pandora’s box. Some JAMMA harnesses require an adapter.

You should just be able to plug it in directly but sometimes the last 2 pins can be wired a bit different

That link should help you out a bit

Cool guys, I was trying that earlier and it didn’t seem to fit quite right but I will try again. I appreciate it - will report back

Here’s a link to the manual. You can change some features and add a favorites list.

Gents, I have now tried for a third effort to connect that black adapter to the Jamma board to no avail. The pin out is correct and spacer is in the right spot. I am full force but can only get the small side of the black adapter to seat and not the rest - what am I doing wrong?

Huh! Maybe Konami uses some special JAMMA adapter to keep people from converting their cabs? I’d check Arcadeshop or someplace like that for an adapter.

The black plug on the harness might have a white key in it you will have to remove to get it on. But also that harness will not work.
Pandora's are not regular jamma. They are "extended" jamma.
The grounds are different and so are the joys and buttons by a bit.

Also on TMNT p3 and p4 come off the turtles PCB not the jamma harness.
So they will never work without rewireing.
Also many games require more buttons.

Basically Pandora's are for a street fighter layout.
2 joys. 6 buttons each.

There is a white key and that all makes sense. Thank you all for the help!
