I guess it's worth the 66. I got mine on a closeout deal from radio shack for 20$. It works OK and I use it a little bit. But definitely not worth the full retail price. It's a nicety not a necessity.

I got a used one cheap a few years back. I rarely use it. For some boards it's handy, though.

I use mine all the time.

First thing I did was replace the knob that locks the arm in place with one of those quick release levers they use for bicycle seats.
Makes it much easier and quicker to adjust the angle of the board.
