Have not restored an apron before but my IJ is developing bubbling paint. Suggestions as to a spray paint type? Not sure if it's a semi gloss or satin finish?

The factory finish looks like some sort of powder coat as it is very thick. Factory seems to be a semi gloss. But in my opinion a nice glossy black finish would look better.

Ok. When I look at the black aprons on my other 1993 W/B machines they all look slightly different. But my 1999 MM is certainly a glossy finish.

Have it powder coated. It will be very durable and the sheen is close to factory.
