if you have a heat gun and plastic scraper id try that first.
vinegar can also be used if you want to try something around the house. heat it up and brush it on in small sections and see if it softens after 10 minutes.
nail polish remover may be an option as well but it smells something awful.
depending on what your plans are for refinishing, steel wool from semi course to ultra fine could be an option. start with the finest and work your way to the least coarsest that removes the paint. dont start with the coarsest. hope that made sense.
there are chemicals but I see no need for a project this size.
paint thinner as well could easily work too.
there's some less toxic greener options at home depot but id try some manual methods first starting with the heat.
