Paint protection film - anyone tried this with pinball?

    I saw this stuff on reddit today, it looks like a protective clear sheet that can be installed with a heat gun. Basically clear coat but without breathing fumes. Has anyone ever tried this stuff as a playfield protector?

    Looks promising. Doesn't look like it would be too costly for a pin

    Be curious to see a visual comparison with Mylar. Does seem essentially the same tho..

    I would be curious to see if this would protect side art. Maybe I will give it a try on the next cheap game I come across.

    Stuff looks pretty rubbery-ish and 'sticky', who knows how it would effect the movement of the ball. Maybe it makes mylar seem like clearcoat.
