So, after a long fought battle with my wallet, and lots of help from the previous owner and others on the forums, I have my Paddock machine in playable condition!
That being said, I noticed that the ball favors the outlanes. A lot. Also, the ball struggles to hit anything near the top of the playfield, but it is possible.
I lowered the legs in the back, and used a pinball leveler app to ensure that it's level, but if the ball goes to the area for the in/outlanes, it almost always bounces first out, then in, then out.

Any tips on gameplay or adjusting anything?

Level is good, but what about the pitch? The recommended factory pitch on Gottlieb EMs is 3.5 degrees (I know this is Williams but similar). Maybe start there adjusting the leg levelers for that pitch and see how it plays. You can also adjust the sling posts to more conservative. See manual.
