Anyone know JP Poelzer / his games / his reputation? He had a Bow and Arrow for sale at the show for which I'd like more information.
Thanks!

Wish I had that problem.

I sold my wipeout a while ago to brich, its now at his bosses house now. Ill text him and see if his boss wants to sell it. It was in pretty good shape.

#597 5 years ago
Quoted from wcbrandes:

There was a wipeout for sale in relatively good shape at the PNW meeting last spring someone local, and I dont think it sold there so the owner may chime in.

That was mine. At that point it was brich's that I traded to him.

Quoted from Beanie:

Looking for a WOZLE? Close by- within 2-3 hours of north idaho? Would prefer to trade Shadow plus cash. But would consider buying outright as well.
Also looking for NGG. Thanks

Twisted pins might have one.

Quoted from Dford:

I have a very nice Bally Six Million Dollar Man with very little wear on the playfield and a nice condition Data East Star Trek 25th Anniversary for sale if anyone is interested.

AHHHHHH!!! Another pinsider in the tri cities, its a miracle!

#650 4 years ago
Quoted from pin-pimp:

That is the SOF that is for sale. The blue display i put in my second one so it has factory display.
Seems like it reset once on me in like 6 months or so. Long term I'd do a cap kit on power board for good preventative maintenance. Left lane that goes up has been touched up but main PF is real good.
Back box lights are led. Most pf inserts and gi are led. Side art is decent to good. Couple minor scratches in the translight but not really notacable. My other one isn't any better, waiting for a good mirrored backglass to be made for this one. I have one bite, i told the guy I'd give him until friday.
It's been in my storage container for 3 months because of my home addition construction. But it's near the front and will be easy to get out. I have a extra taxi for sale too.

Deal in confidence with Kevin!

#655 4 years ago
Quoted from pin-pimp:

The taxi that i am asking 2k for is in my storrage. Can't get pics of it for a few weeks when I start moving pins back into my house. Just did a major addition. The $1400 taxi is in my shop, i posted one pic already. Can get more if needed. No I am not going anywhere anytime soon. Busy here with house and work. Ronnie from tri city may be coming down next month. Not sure
The Swords of Fury for sale is also in storage, both are near the doors though and would be easy to get to. Raining like mo fo here now.

Im comin down next time Bryce comes down. Or I have money, whichever comes first.

I have a Fireball 2. Almost done with it but still chasing a problem with the drop targets locking on. Has new MPU, driver, and rectifier boards. Playfield is very nice! BG has some flaking but has been touched up and doesn't look too bad. Pics for interested parties can be had.

As-is: $1000 bucks

Drop targets fixed and new drop targets and pop bumper caps installed: $1350

Quoted from GibGirl:

First, sorry if this is considered "bad form" for this thread... but as someone who's trying to get into owning pins, and seeing that the NW seems to be hotter (and pricier) than most other areas, could I get some advice on what I could realistically expect to aim at, machine wise, with a $1500-$2000 budget? I'm fine with a player's machine, just wanting it to be working enough to be playable to start with - I'd rather learn to fix and maintain a pin from a good starting state, versus diving in at the deep end and getting one working again. I'd also like to aim at a good SS or low-end DMD to start.
I've tried looking up prices on machines here and other places, and it looks like what I've seen when poking around what's available in the area is notably higher. That's making it hard to even get a good grip on what level of machine I can legitimately look for. (For example, would I be able to wait and watch for a Demolition Man at that range? Or would I want to look at something more like Sorcerer if I want to be able to play it?)

I have a Dr. Dude id sell you in that price range...

Where and how much did you get the rollergames for?

It was at the pendleton swap meet. 400 bucks but, this thing is ROUGH....

#1056 4 years ago
Quoted from pinwiztom:

Tell me more about this pinball meet, is is monthly? annual?
or does it move locations from time to time.

It was the first time, it startes with a couple of guys that were gonna trade a pin or two. Then it expanded to like 6 or 7 guys trading stuff in the Wild Horse Casino parking lot.

#1067 4 years ago
Quoted from maglar:

Had a great time in Pendleton this weekend, fun meeting all of you guys and B.S.ins about pinball.

#1086 4 years ago
Quoted from JosiahCox:

Mark,
I have a StarTrip cocktail pin that I snagged for $100 off of CL last year.
It starts up fine and flips but keeps on blowing a fuse under the play field. There doesn't appear to be any board damage and I removed the battery from the main board to ensure that it wouldn't ruin anything.
I'd been sitting on it waiting for some free time to try and figure out the fuse issue but it's not a priority.
If you want it as a project I'd sell it for the $100 I have into it.
I'd love for it to go to someone local up here.
You are more than welcome to come check it out.
Let me know.

Tempting..... I have a weird thing for Game Plans.

#1098 4 years ago
Quoted from pinwiztom:

I am thinking of selling my 1981 Stern Lightning,
PF is in VG condition
CAB OK
only catch is that the BG has severe flaking.
Hopefully someone can find a NOS or Repro BG for for $200-300
I am willing to sell it "as is" for $500ish
was working when last set up prior to move from CA to ORE.
I will try to get some pics posted soon.

Wanting to trade my Stern Lightning (or trade + cash for a DMD or more recent Stern).
Playfield is in excellent condition. One of the upper playfield plastics has a small piece missing. It has LEDs - one or two are loose or burned out. Everything else works 100%. The cabinet has some wear and some small chunks missing. A credit button was added (not by me).
I'm happy to supply more pictures, just ask.

Quoted from xTheBlackKnightx:

FREE USED "Early Bally" side rails.
51.4" long Bally stainless steel side rail set used on many games from 1974 to 1981.
Each of these side rails has a total of 9 nail holes (8 on the side and one on the top at the back), and 2 square carriage bolt holes (1 at the front and 1 at the back).
Bally reference numbers P-931-76, P-921-77.
Midway reference numbers 036-00178-0100 & 036-00178-0200.
Completely usable for a project, but have dents and scratches.
Curved lips are in good shape, and correctly fit.
The scratches will buff out, the dents will not.
You might be able to put rails on a hydraulic press and save yourself $80.
FREE for local pickup.
Cardboard tube included.
I will keep them in the garage for a few weeks to see if somebody can use them, otherwise they get recycled.

Hmmm, I'd need to see pictures first.

#1892 3 years ago
Quoted from xTheBlackKnightx:

Send a PM of you need them.
I will upload photos as requested.
This way anybody can view them if needed.
This is the 21st century internet.
Otherwise, as stated, the stainless steel will be recycled.
Free parts are free parts.

If you don't mind driving, there will be a repair party in Milton, WA at James Edes' house at the end of February with people that could help you look at and teach you to repair your own board(s). We will be doing a bunch around Washington State leading up to the show. Do Portland area folks ever do repair parties? It seems like you have enough collectors to do them.

Can you bring arcade games to these parties? I have several that are pats my knowledge.
