All great EMs, i do not see how anyone could pass them up

$450 is a decent price, if truly 100% working and in very good condition,
but kinda hard to tell true condition from the 2 posted photos on CL.
The game is not as fun as the playfield layout might make one think (at least IMHO),
but the art package and theme is cool.
There are better EMs to play, but this game is certainly not the worst.

Tell me more about this pinball meet, is is monthly? annual?
or does it move locations from time to time.

Sounds like a fun way to spend a SAT Afternoon;
hopefully another informal impromptu gathering
will come together again soon,
to swap pinball machines and pinball stories.

I am thinking of selling my 1981 Stern Lightning,
PF is in VG condition

only catch is that the BG has severe flaking.
Hopefully someone can find a NOS or Repro BG for for $200-300
I am willing to sell it "as is" for $500ish
was working when last set up prior to move from CA to ORE.

Finally got around to cleaning the garage and taking some pictures.
Just do not have the room to keep everything,
so this one is going to go to a new home (hopefully)

Was 99% working when last set up over a year ago when i lived in Bakersfield CA.
(One spot target on upper PF not registering)
Game is nice shape, Playfield is in excellent condition, plastics are all good.
Cabinet in decent shape, needs new rubber rings.
only problem is that the BackGlass has started to flake badly and de-laminate in areas.
At least four spots where (silver dollar sized) chips of the artwork have fallen off.
Might be possible to salvage with triple thick krylon or mylar sheet backing,
but there are other areas where you can see the paint is starting to lift and/or craze/crack.
Maybe possible to get bgresto.com to take on the challenge or find a decent NOS BG somewhere.
