Quoted from Chet_Hardbody:Hahaha, thanks! I've been obsessively refreshing the marketplace. I've kinda been avoiding craigslist since I don't know much about evaluating condition and I trust the people here a bit more to have their shit together and have taken better care of their pins.
I sent ya a message
Quoted from Tuna_Delight:As have I. Robert provides outstanding quality and service!
Unfortunately, he's not local.
No he's not. But, very fast turnaround and he flat out knows pinball powdercoating. And he's a player too so knows what to look for. Been very happy with 4 projects he's done.
Quoted from wamonkey:Oh Robert is great - if you want a greater color range or more types of flakes etc. he is the man and he does great work. He did my Congo with a green flake and it turned out great but you pay for it. He costs more but I recommend him as well.
It honestly seems like powdercoating business in Seattle have plenty of work and could care less for small jobs.
I think for the quality and knowledge, he's very fair on price. Waitin to send him zepp, if it ever comes haha
Quoted from Tuna_Delight:Blasting before any new powder coating is a must.
Just like in painting, proper surface preparation is critical!
Don 't let any powder coater tell you different.
Make sure they know how to blast properly. I had some gas pump skins from the 30s get warped real bad
Quoted from hisokajp:One of my rental client was asking, what are the current best/cheaper options for Stern NIB delivered in the Seattle area?
Next level in hillsboro, or. He occasionally makes trips to sea
Quoted from Freeplay40:Let me consult the 8 Ball....."Not Likely"
Cmon, be positive. Im hoping it will be open to some capacity, maybe our gov will loosen up a bit
Quoted from KING-HENRY:12%!???!! that's almost as bad as seller fees on eBay!! How does it work the other way around? If someone were to pick up a pin in BC and bring it back to the US?
I did a few years ago, was no fee. I told the border agent I was buying for me, showed him a bill of sale, they didn't bother to even look at the game.
