Quoted from oropuro:DATA East Slap Shot(hockey pitch and bat)
still haven't had any bites on SS? if i didn't already own one i'd definitely be interested, since they're such a unique and rare game and way more fun than almost any other redemption.
Quoted from Bumper:Anybody bought machines from ReplayFX? I got two and they need to go to Seattle (Tulalip to be precise), any suggestions to get them here?
Beltman Group - Michelle Bianchi. Info is all over pinside. Two pins typically cost same price as one. Are the pins listed for sale somewhere?
Quoted from nwpinball:It sounds like almost everything is already sold.
How can you tell? Who would one contact if interested in a title?
Oh. Duh. Top of the list: Contact [email protected] to purchase games.
Selling my Johnny Mnemonic w Color LED DMD + extras
Pick up is in Portland, Oregon. Thanks!
Game has been sold, thank you.
Posting here before the main Market place:
Stern Magic SS, $1,500
One of my favorite early Stern Solid state game, I have been on the fence about selling this for a while but I really need the space and the cash for new machines coming soon.
The playfield is good and the cabinet is solid as well. New rubbers on the machine with LED in the GI, the flippers were also recently rebuilt and you can rip these spinners nicely!
Great original backglass, 0 flaking just some chip near the trims, displays are solid, no burn and were reflown, credit/ball display is a new replacement, LED in the head.
New Altek MPU and a Coin-Op repaired SDB and also a new rectifier board with new connectors.
Great game on this machine at the last NWPC:

Stern Wheel of Fortune, $4,200
Great condition fun Stern machine from 2007, fairly rare title which would fit great in an existing collection.
The machine plays great, it was a recent reimport, it was fully converted (new power cord, fuse, MOV, convenience outlet, Ballast etc...) and behave like any other domestic game now. It comes with the "updated" home ROM but the latest "official" release can be installed very easily.
I am making space and raising $ for a couple other games coming soon.
The playfield is in a great shape, it show very low level of play. I shopped the topside of the playfield, taking everything off to clean it, convert it all to LED lights and putting new PerfectPlay rubber all around. I have also rebuilt the flippers with a rebuild kit, they are plenty strong.

Quoted from Gogojohnnyquack:How can you tell?
James apparently sent in a list of 15 he wanted to buy and only 1 was still available. There was brief talk of trying to do a group buy before the prices came out, but the prices were at market value and the games started selling quick.

My container BSD from a few years ago turned out awesome. Is Starship Troopers good or do you have some nostalgia for it? The one I played on location in the past 5 years was kinda beat up and not great at Fitzgerald's in Ballard.
BSD has got to be one of the most common imports, I wonder how many in total have been imported. Did anyone keep track or copies of all the imports? I wonder what the count of some of the other popular ones is up to. White Water and WCS are popular. Maybe Wheel of Fortune too, which is curious to me, maybe there were a lot more of those sold in Europe.
The RCT I just picked up was an obvious Italian import too. It looks like not much was done to get it fixed up, so someone must have been over their head. That's the second time I ran into that: also got my Fun House via hand-me-down import. I wish I kept the old lists to see when these came in and for how much.
Anyone imported a used pin lately into Canada from USA? How much does a customs broker cost? Any info appreciated

I probably have some of the old lists, I could try to dig them up, prices sure were a lot lower when we started doing them compared to now. RFM is another really common one, I think at least a dozen have been re-imported locally. Maybe they offered Europe discounted prices on certain titles to move games?

Looking for a Funhouse with a populated playfield. I don't need boards or any wiring. Playfield can be completely trashed. Heck, I would even be interested in a populated playfield without a cabinet.
Thank you!

Quoted from Mbecker:Kinda shocked to see so many RFMs!! Thanks for sharing!
The price point is right for those, it's usually around $1500-$1700 Euros and at times they've had 5 or 6 to choose from. Multiple people have bought 2 at a time.
Imported list is missing some at least one.
Starship Troopers was in our first group buy
Sopranos, whitewater, 2 RFM, 2 Congo’s, theatre of magic, whirlwind, royal rumble, the shadow, all reimported, none still in the collection... anyone else bring back total of 10 or more thru all these buys, wish prices weren’t insane high on his list now.
I've got a nice player condition Pinbot. I've put new rubbers in it, gave the playfield a full teardown, clean/wax, flippers rebuilt, bulbs replaced as needed (no LED yet), switches adjusted, cliffys installed. Diagnosed and fixed some board issues; the last owner had some kind of short that blew through two transistors and a NOR gate. Everything is playing perfectly now. When I get serious I'll make a video walkthrough and post a listing.
Would like to trade for Whirlwind or Space Station. I have cash available if there's a value gap, or cash is fine. If you're interested we can have a Zoom or Facetime session and I'll show you everything. I'm in Portland. Thanks!

The very first group by was arranged by someone else (Greg?) and the delivery/pick up point was at Bill Witzell's house, so those weren't included in Jon's list... maybe that's when yours came? I had one on that buy as well. The games were unloaded I think with a forklift or tractor because we didn't know we'd need a ramp! I think I've bought 6 or 7... yeah, the prices have gone up a bunch, but so has the pinball market, and it's getting harder and harder to find 90s and 00s games. I wish I bought 10 in each of the first container buys now, but who knew then where game prices would go?
I normally do not reveal prices I paid for machines but the prices were publicly available at the time of purchase. I have also come to realize that even if you know what someone paid for a machine years ago it bears no relation to the present day market value of a machine as well as include any work that may have been done to the machine in the meantime. I'm guilty of having quite a number of machines that were unloaded and have sat untouched (for years). I have too many other things I am in the middle of. Some of them I should be doing instead of posting here.
I have taken part in four of the container buys - including the very first one. I am also crazy enough to have recorded all the prices I paid for a machine at the time of purchase. It definitely makes it very interesting to see what has happened to the asking price from the first buy to the latest buy. It closely follows the principle of "raise the price and if it sells then great otherwise lower the price until it sells".

- Theatre of Magic for Euro 3,705 = USD 4,150 with shipping USD 210 (condition 8/10)

- Creature from the Black Lagoon for Euro 2,565 = USD 2,825 with shipping USD 400 (condition 6/10)
- Indiana Jones (WMS) for Euro 3,515 = USD 3,875 with shipping USD 400 (condition 7/10)
- Theatre of Magic for Euro 3,895 = USD 4,275 with shipping USD 400 (condition 7/10)
- Scared Stiff for Euro 3,610 = USD 3,975 with shipping USD 400 (condition 7/10)

2019-11-16: container delivery date
- Dirty Harry for Euro 2,090 = USD 2,400 with shipping 250 (condition 6/10)
Of those machines:
- The Lord of the Rings was rebuilt. It has been to the Northwest Pinball and Arcade Show.
- The first Theatre of Magic was rebuilt. It was sold to a (very happy) friend.
- The Indiana Jones was rebuilt. It has been to the Northwest Pinball and Arcade Show.
- One Bram Stoker's Dracula was shopped. It has been to the Northwest Pinball and Arcade Show.
The definition of rebuilt is complete tear down, playfield touch-up, playfield clear coat, all mechanisms rebuilt (down to the screw) and thorough cleaning throughout.
So it appears I'm batting 4/13 so far. The pricing history definitely tells a story. Many deals in the earlier buys and not so many deals in the later buys (hence the reducing number of machines purchased). I still can't believe the price paid for The Addams Family and Twilight Zone. Insane. I know I will never see those prices again.

Not happening right now!
I know to use border buddy to process import and can figure out a shipper....
How is payment being made to seller so everyone is comfortable?
PayPal can be nasty for sellers and I’m not sending $3000 family and friends....
I don’t have any buddies in Tacoma to act as a proxy so what do I do?
