TPF is shaping up to be a HUGE event for the Multimorphic and the P3. Here's what we have planned:
- Two prototype machines, proto-2 and proto-3.
-- Proto-2 is the machine most of you have seen. It has an oak cabinet and small speaker box.
-- Proto-3 is brand new and has a cherry cabinet and full backbox/translite.
-- Our plans for the cabinet are to let customers choose the style they want (choice of a wood grain or themed cabinet artwork, choice of low profile speakerbox or full backbox).
- Proto-2 will be fully playable with our hardware demonstration software.
- Proto-3 will be *playing itself* for most of the weekend.
- 2pm Saturday (3/16), we'll set up a networked head-to-head demo game for everybody to play. 2 players, one on each machine, playing a single game. Winner stays, loser goes to the back of the line. If there's enough interest, we'll set this up again later in the show.
- 5:30pm Saturday (3/16) - Dennis Nordman and I will present a seminar. This seminar will include theme announcements for our first two games. Remember, the P3 is a multi-game platform. It will ship with two complete games (each with a unique theme and shot layout). Also, one seminar attendee *will* WIN A FREE P3. That's a $9495 value. Let's make this the most attended pinball seminar ever!
Other things we'll be showing off:
- Theme artwork
- Theme posters (for sale - get one signed by Dennis!)
- P3 t-shirts (for sale)
- Our first set of manufactured floating flipper assemblies
- Modular playfield design
- Cleanest wiring in the biz.
We'll also continue taking pre-orders. Current pre-order pricing is $9495 (limited time), which is about $4748 per game. Future games/playfields should sell for approx. $1k-$1.5k. So the first two games are less expensive than most other MFGs, and future games are *significantly* less than that. We believe this is the best pricing model in the industry, by far.
With our playable prototypes, we've proven our innovations and technology work, and now we're moving forward on commercial / themed game development. So you can start expecting to see themed artwork and eventually themed software. It's an exciting time for us, and it's an exciting time for pinball in general!
